On November 16, the motor vessel “Bahía Cargo” operated in TCTenerife for the first time, thus starting a new service from the shipping company Fred Olsen that demonstrates its confidence in this terminal by being the first inter-island ro-ro cargo operator to operate out of the dock of La Ribera on a regular basis. This vessel, along with its twin, the “Bentayga Cargo”, from the same shipping company, will make daily calls at the TCTenerife Terminal, covering the route between Gran Canaria, Tenerife and the eastern islands.
Both vessels, which are nearly 163 meters in length and have a service speed of over 20 knots, have a capacity for more than 1,800 linear meters or, in other words, about 120 cargo units, and have the possibility for transporting containers on its upper deck.
With this new operation TCTenerife continues to advance to continue being a leader in the Port sector, offering a professional service to all its clients and users.
